Hocking Hills State Forest

The Hocking State Forest in Ohio offers a network of 40-50 miles scenic bridle trails, providing a unique way to experience the natural beauty of the region. These well-maintained trails wind through rolling hills, lush forests, and along picturesque streams, offering riders a variety of terrain and challenges.  

The trails cater to all levels of riders, from leisurely strolls to more challenging rides. Some popular trails include the Orange Trail, which offers stunning views and a moderate level of difficulty, and the Purple Trail, known for its challenging climbs and descents.  

Horseback riding in the Hocking State Forest provides a unique perspective on the area’s natural wonders. Riders can explore hidden valleys, admire towering cliffs, and encounter diverse wildlife, all from the back of their horse. The forest offers a peaceful and tranquil environment, perfect for a relaxing and rejuvenating equestrian adventure.
